Abstract

Magnetomotive molecularly-targeted iron oxide nanoparticles are demonstrated as in vivo contrast agents and detected using magnetomotive optical coherence tomography. These nanoprobes are also multifunctional as molecular agents in MRI, optical coherence elastography, and therapeutic applications.
