Manipulation of Coupling Between Individual Nanoparticles

Abstract

We investigate the emission dynamics of a single semiconductor quantum dot near a single Au nanoparticle. Due to coupling between the nanoparticles, the quantum dot exhibits a strong polarization dependence and reduced blinking.
