Abstract

We demonstrate high-efficient THz pulse generation with optical rectification in LiNbO3. Narrowed spectral bandwidth of subpicosecond optical pulse suppresses stimulated Raman scattering, leading to the highest energy conversion efficiency of 0.21 %.
