Polarization-independent Fano resonances in one dimensional arrays of core-shell nanospheres

Abstract

We study light scattering by one-dimensional arrays of core-shell nanospheres and reveal the existence of polarization-independent Fano resonances due to the interference of degenerate magneto-electric Mie resonances with Wood’s anomaly of the array.
