Abstract

We report strongly enhanced fluorescence decay rates on Ag/Si multilayered plasmonic metamaterials, with tunability and broader bandwidths than on Ag single-layer nanostructures. Time-resolved fluorescence measures a 54-fold decay rate enhancement.
