Abstract
The fidelity error accompanied by π/2 pulse control has been shown to be inversely proportional to the average photon number [1]. We employed fully quantum treatment into this problem to obtain rather exact value of the fidelity error. Resulted error depends on the initial state of the qubit unlike the value in the former studies. Our result also reveals that the the entanglement built up between the field and the qubit is the origin of the error.
