Localized Dynamic Brillouin Gratings Permanently Induced by Chaotic Signals

Abstract

A method to permanently induce localized, dynamic Brillouin gratings is proposed and numerically demonstrated. It exploits the thumb-tack correlation of chaotic lasers signals.
