Amplitude-preserving tunable pulse delay in AlGaInAs–InP active ring-resonators

Abstract

We report on the use of active waveguides to compensate for losses in reconfigurable delay lines based on ring resonators. Pulse delay in both transparency and amplification regimes is demonstrated.
