Quantitative description of the scattering angles in electrically-driven OLEDs fabricated on periodically corrugated substrates

Abstract

Using bottom-emitting OLEDs grown on periodically corrugated substrates, we demonstrate efficient Bragg scattering of waveguide modes into the air cone. The angular position of scattered modes is in excellent agreement with theoretical predictions.
