Abstract

ITO-free organic solar cells with high power conversion efficiency (~7.7 %) are fabricated by using a polymer/metal/dielectric (PMD) electrode. Employing a polymer layer (n = 1.45) makes it possible to show high transmittance, insensitive to the film thickness and well-ordered nano-patterns on PMD electrode, leading to enhance the photo-current density by 17 %, compared to typical device-based on ITO electrode.
