A Graphene-based Polarization-Insensitive Optical Modulator

Abstract

We present a polarization-insensitive graphene-based optical modulator. The performance of the designed modulator is comprehensively evaluated, showing a 3-dB modulation with a 910-nm long waveguide, an optical bandwidth of 13.2 THz with an operation speed of 0.64 THz.
