Abstract

A method is presented for partial recovery of limited extent images from spectra sampled regularly but below the Nyquist density. The non-iterative method requires only relatively small systems of linear equations to be solved. With particular relevance to magnetic resonance imaging, the method provides a means for deriving which regions of an image can be recovered.
