Ambiguity function and phase space tomography for nonparaxial partially coherent optical fields

Abstract

A nonparaxial ambiguity function that resembles its paraxial counterpart is presented, both in two and three dimensions, and is used for the recovery of the coherence properties of scalar partially coherent fields in two-dimensional space.
