Resonant Cavity Enhanced LWIR Sensing in Polycrystalline Pb1−xSnxTe

Abstract

Polycrystalline Pb1-xSnxTe LWIR photodetectors have been fabricated in resonant cavity structures on Si platforms. We describe the fabrication process and report detector performance demonstrating the feasibility of monolithic LWIR detectors-on-ROIC.
