Solar Thermoelectric and Thermophotovoltaic Converters

Abstract

This paper discusses potentials of converting solar energy first into a terrestrial heat source and then into electricity via solid-state thermoelectric and thermophotovoltaic devices. Theoretical efficiency as well as recent materials advances will be presented. Article not available.
