Abstract

We demonstrate microcavity enhancement of surface-emitted second- harmonic generation for 1.5-μm, 200-fs pulses with spectral content that exceeds the cavity resonance width. Enhancement measured for a range of cavity finesse verifies the theoretically predicted performance.
