Due to their flexibility of design and usage, Fresnel lenses are very attractive for THz applications. For example, Fresnel lenses could be used for maneuvering the THz wave front, fabricating THz diffraction optics or lens array for THz image application [1]. In general, Fresnel lenses are also more compact than conventional THz lenses.
