Quantum control of a chiral molecular motor driven by linearly polarized laser pulses

Abstract

We demonstrate quantum control of a chiral molecular motor driven by linearly polarized ultrashort laser pulses. Electric fields of laser pulses to drive the motor in desired directions are designed using a quantum control method.
