Basis for ultrafast imaging of molecular orbitals with high-order harmonic generation

Abstract

We investigate ellipticity dependence of high-order harmonic generation in aligned molecules both experimentally and theoretically. Our model reproduces experimental results including geometrical and quantum interference effect and provides a basis for imaging of molecular orbitals.
