Abstract

Picosecond time resolved photoconductivity of TiO2single crystals, nanoparticles, and nanotubes is reported. Long range photoconductivity of both nanomaterials is impaired. The THz data reveal a very different microscopic mechanism reducing conductivity nanotubes vs. nanoparticles.
