Abstract

High quality waveguides and photonic devices are reported in Gorilla glass for the first time. A lowest loss of 0.18 dB/cm in a waveguide written with a fs laser has been achieved. Curved waveguides of length 10m and straight waveguides of length 30 cm have been written and characterized.
