Aberrational properties of a thin component as the basic element in a variable-magnification optical system

Abstract

The use of analytical relationships for the correlation of the principal parameters of a thin component with the parameters when its position is arbitrary relative to the object plane made it possible to analyze how the state of the correction of the aberrations changes as it moves.
