Abstract

This paper describes methods of multiscale interpolation. Image-scaling methods with an integral factor based on a multichannel discrete wavelet transform are investigated. Algorithms are developed for constructing multichannel nonorthogonal wavelet filters based on B-splines and orthogonal wavelet filters. The proposed image-scaling algorithms are investigated. Estimates are obtained for the efficiency of the algorithms thus developed.
