Abstract
A novel localization scheme by combining grid and light with mobile localization policy for sensor networks has been designed. The scheme employs a moving location assistant with a band of light. The high localization accuracy can be achieved without expensive hardware on the sensor nodes. The scheme exhibits significant advantages compared with other traditional methods. In particular, such a low-cost scheme does not require any infrastructure or additional hardware for sensor nodes.
