Abstract

We report a new nonlinear crystal, Ba1xB2yzO4SixAlyGaz, and employ it to a compact 1 kHz single-longitudinal-mode Ti:Sapphire master oscillator power amplifier system for fourth harmonic generation. A maximum output power of 130 mW is obtained in the tunable range of 195–205 nm with linewidth of less than 0.1 pm.
