HgCl(B-X) emission due to CO+ and CH3HgCl collisions

Abstract
Dissociative excitation of the HgCl(B-X) band system and atomic mercury lines have been observed in the present studies uring collisions of CO+ ions with CHlHgCl molecules in the laboratory kinetic energy range of 100–1000 eV.
