Abstract

The concept of intellectual property is taking hold. A new Federal appeals court is expanding the power of patents. Billion-dollar infringement cases are making their way through the lower courts, e.g., Kodak is being sued by Polaroid. This short article, reprinted by permission from The New York Times, 13 May 1990, discusses the idea and the belief held by some that the new court is biased.
