Abstract

The major sensitometric properties of a new holographic film, Agfa-Gevaert type 10E70, have been measured. To facilitate comparison, the same properties have been measured for Kodak type 649–F emulsion. Both the density vs log exposure and time vs gamma curves have been plotted for both films. The relative ASA speed of the Agfa emulsion was also calculated. It was concluded that the relatively high speed and high contrast of this film make it an excellent recording material in holography and optical data processing.
