Zenith Sky Brightness and Color Change During the Total Solar Eclipse of 12 November 1966 at Santa Ines, Peru

Abstract

This paper reports observations of the zenith sky brightness around totality at 5580 Å and 6300 Å during the eclipse of 12 November 1966. The observations were carried out at Santa Ines, Huancavelica, Peru, using interference filter photometers. The color change and the variation of the sky brightness at zenith were determined and are presented.
