Abstract
The Harvard College Observatory instrument on the Skylab was a seven-channel spectrometer–spectroheliometer operating in the 280–1340-Å wavelength range and capable of a variety of observing modes encompassing both spatial and spectral scans of a wide range of solar features. The instrument design and operational performance are described in detail.
