Integrated band intensities of gaseous N2O5

Abstract

Values for mid-IR integrated band intensities of gaseous N2O5 were determined at room temperature. The absorptions studied were at 1720, 1246, 743, and 557 cm−1. The integrated intensities were 2204, 581, 685, and 699 atm−1-cm−2, respectively. Implications of these results for the stratospheric detection of N2O5 are discussed.
