A Two-Wavelength Two-Frequency Ratio Recording Infrared Spectrometer Analyzer

Abstract

An infrared plant stream analyzer is described which records as its output the ratio of two wavelengths; one the measuring and the other the reference wavelength. The two wavelengths are obtained by using two entrance slits in a grating spectrometer and chopping the radiation passing through each slit at a different frequency, permitting the use of electrical bandpass filters for wavelength separation and recording.
