Abstract

Within the framework of the OPAQUE project the transmittances in the visible, the far-infrared, and the millimeter wavelength regions as well as a number of meteorological parameters have been measured at the Ypenburg Airfield near the Hague, The Netherlands. These transmittances are presented by means of monthly histograms showing frequency and cumulative distributions of surveys over three years. Scatterplots are used to explain the interrelationships of the transmittances. Also the relations between transmittances and rain rate, density of fog, relative and absolute humidity are shown graphically.
