Properties of the state of polarization of the reflected radiation of λ= 10.6 µm for sublimed flowers of sulfur are studied. It is shown that sublimed sulfur follows Lambert’s cosine law and depolarizes 73% of incident linearly polarized radiation. The absolute reflectance matrix coefficients for the sulfur are given. Selection of sublimed sulfur as a standard reflectance is discussed.
