Abstract

A pulsed Nd:YAG laser has been built suitable for dye laser pumping, photoionization, and other purposes. Its peak output is more than 110 mJ IR and 40 mJ of frequency-doubled green in a 10-nsec pulse. The beam profile has almost a pure Gaussian shape.
