Establishing fiducials on glancing incidence mirrors

Abstract

A method is described for aligning cylindrical glancing incidence mirrors and establishing fiducials prior to axial profile measurements. The residual uncertainty in the absolute axial position is 2.54 μm and the uncertainty in the absolute radius is 0.812 μm.
