Abstract

We examine the characteristic features of laser-transit-velocimeter (LTV) correlograms formed from signals acquired in a pulsating turbulent flow. Consideration is given to new data processing procedures necessary to extract extra information from such correlograms. These developments may find use in the analysis of LTV data obtained, for example, from flows within rotating machinery.
