Hipparcos telescope: behavior of the output signal

Not Accessible

Your library or personal account may give you access

Abstract

A detailed simulation of the output signal of the ESA space telescope Hipparcos has been performed, based on a complete and updated model. Various spectra of the incident light from different positions in the field of view have been simulated, both for nominal telescope parameters and for a wide range of possible deviations from their nominal values. Here we give a description of the algorithm and a brief survey of the results.
