Angular scanning mechanism for ellipsometers

Abstract

We describe the implementation of an elliptical mirror for variable angle, fixed position beam alignment in ellipsometers. The proposed configuration reduces mechanical complexity and allows for the determination of differential angular measurements of ellipsometric parameters.
