Abstract

Pseudocolor encoding of holographic images by rainbow holography with no slit is proposed. The pseudocolor holographic image is obtained by white-light reconstruction of the rainbow hologram with no slit. The basic advantage of this technique is the elimination of a narrow slit in the encoding process. The theoretical analysis and experimental results are presented.
