A New Radiation Chopper Principle

Abstract

A radiation chopper principle yielding high discrimination against short-wavelength radiation is described. A sample instrument has been built and tested for 13-cps operation. The chopper principle can be applied throughout the entire infrared wavelength region in many instruments.
