High-efficiency 266-nm output of a KBe2BO3F2 crystal

Fourth-harmonic generation of a Nd:YAG laser has been achieved with a conversion efficiency of 30.6% in a KBe2BO3F2 crystal of thickness 1.8 mm. The acceptance angle at wavelength 532 nm has also been measured.
