An imprinted polyacrylonitrile (PAN) diffraction grating on a glass substrate. The PAN grating is used to diffract light into solar cell layers on the opposite side of the glass, with the goal of increasing the amount of solar radiation absorbed. For details see Cocilovo et al., pp. 1025-1034.
