Abstract

The absorption spectrum of o-dibromobenzene has been recorded in the region of 2800–2540 Å with path lengths of 75 cm and 150 cm over a temperature range of 0° to 80°C. The absorption bands were sharp with degradation to red. Additional observation indicated a few broad and diffuse bands with no clear degradation but with a maximum intensity at the center.
