Abstract

In order to extend wavelength region to 25 microns a Perkin-Elmer. Infracord has been adapted for use with a KBr prism. Design of the instrument and its performance characteristics will be described Experiments have been performed to illustrate several classes of chemical problems for which the 12.5 to 25 micron region of the spectrum is particularly useful in solving. Typical spectra are shown.
