Abstract

A Bardócz BIG 210 ignited arc source was compared with a conventional ignited unidirectional arc and a Multisource for the analysis of lead alloys and the determination of boron in steel. The sources performed similarly except for the lead alloy analysis where the Bardócz source proved superior in repeatability and line-to-background ratio.
