Abstract

In studying the powder diffraction patterns of pyrazine and some of its derivatives, one is limited to those compounds that are solids. Even the solid samples present problems in handling because of their tendency to absorb carbon dioxide. For these reasons the picrates were prepared and used for powder diffraction studies.
