The Mass Spectra of Some Ferrocenes

Abstract

Previous studies in this class of compounds have been mainly concerned with the electron-impact measurements of ionization potential (<i>1</i>) and with some mass-spectra of the simple cyclopentadienyls (<i>2</i>). One or two isolated reports of such spectra (<i>3</i>) have been made and the present communication extends the investigation to a wider range of substituted cyclopentadienyl iron compounds.
