Abstract
The technique of atomic fluorescence flame spectrometry as a potential tool for the trace analysis of inorganic ions has received increasing attention in the last few years. The method is based upon the absorption of radiation by an atomic vapor and the measurement of the radiation emitted when a fraction of the excited atoms lose their energy by fluorescence.
