The Determination of Thorium in Rare Earths by Gamma-Ray Spectrometry

Abstract

A method for the radiometric nondestructive determination of thorium in rare earths using multi-channel gamma-ray spectrometry is described. Radioactive secular equilibrium is discussed relative to the method. Results obtained are compared to other analytical techniques.
